Your Journey Options
Experiential IFS Journey
1 full day (6 hrs) - $1500
A full day of therapy for individuals, couples, and families with a foundation of Internal Family Systems (IFS) that may be combined with other trauma-informed models such as Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Psychodrama, Enneagram, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). A unique experiential therapeutic process is created based on the client’s story and needs. This block of time allows for an undistracted deeper dive for clients to discover and heal parts of themselves that feel stuck in their lives and relationships. If longer time is desired, multiple days can be scheduled consecutively or spread out.
KAP Journey
3 hrs - $750 (additional $225 fee paid to MindStream Integrative for medical assessment and Ketamine prescription/injection)
Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is an immersive experience using Ketamine, an anesthetic that has been used in medicine for over 50 years and has been researched for its potential benefits in treating mental health struggles such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and chronic pain. When used in low doses in a controlled and ethical setting, Ketamine has been found to alleviate symptoms and offer transformative experiences for clients by creating space for a “compassionate and curious observer.” This observer kindly allows intellectualizing parts of us to step aside and allow a deeper connection to our stories and experiences. While these intellectual parts are also welcomed and have been doing their jobs for a long time for good reason, it offers them a break to see things more clearly in a contained and safe space. The first hour is used for history gathering and intention setting, the second hour is for your ketamine journey, and the third hour is for processing and integration. While one session can provide great relief, like many other modalities, these sessions build on each other. 3-6 KAP sessions are recommended for most benefit.
90 min IFS session
$290
This option is most similar to the standard weekly session with an extra cushion of time to allow for that “oh and one more thing” we often find ourselves feeling when time is up in a session. The first 15-30 minutes provides the necessary “catch up and storytelling” while another hour offers time to move deeper into the story and the parts involved that are carrying burdens to unload. These sessions are also a great complement to the full day IFS journeys or 3 hr KAP journeys, because they allow for preparation beforehand or ongoing integration afterward.
Why Longer Sessions?
For my first 12 years as a therapist, I offered the standard 1 hr weekly session. While these are helpful and important, I noticed a desire for something deeper – in myself and my clients. Now in my 15th year of providing therapy, I have enjoyed cultivating immersive and experiential processes that allow spacious time to map it out, feel it out, cry it out, yell it out, get it out, and move forward in our relationship with Self and others – to see all the parts of us holding stories that need a compassionate witness and healing. And sometimes those parts struggle to tell their story in 1hr increments. We also need ample time to digest our feelings and stories without rushing or pushing through, so I do caution against stopping that precious hour each week that offers a consistent and trusted place to land. These journeys have been created as a supplement to weekly therapy for those who wish to dive deeper with less distractions and a focused time on a specific need, crisis, or situation. For all of these options, I welcome collaboration with your current therapist and care team.
